Encounters at the Ramen Shop is one of my many started, but few finished side projects. After first becoming addicted to image-generating A.I. like Midjourney and Dall-E I decided to take a try with advanced text generating A.I. as well.

Before I knew it I was building a large document with all the good stuff that came out of my prompts. I chose a common environment (a ramen shop, don’t ask) and some fixed characters and tried to throw curveballs as prompts, to nudge the A.I. into full-blown escalation.

Eventually I put all these short stories together on the blog. I topped it off with consistently generated cover art (Dall-E) and also converted everything to a podcast series and a full ebook.
