Charlie the bum did his daily walk around the city centre. He saw a queue of people waiting to get into the popular new ramen restaurant that had just opened a week prior.

He also saw a man walking around with a sandwich board that read “Free Hugs”.

The man with the sandwich board saw Charlie and called out to him, “Hey buddy, want a free hug?”

Charlie thought about it for a second, then decided that a free hug sounded pretty good. He walked over and hugged the man.

As they embraced, Charlie felt a warm, tingling feeling spread through his body. It was the best hug he’d ever had in his life.

When they parted, Charlie saw that the man’s sandwich board now read “I just gave you a free hug, now give me $5”.

Charlie started laughing.

“I’m not going to give you $5. YOU are going to give me all of YOUR money.” he said while making a finger gun.

The man tried to run away, but Charlie was too fast. He tackled him to the ground and took all of his money.

He then went into the ramen restaurant and enjoyed a delicious bowl of soup.
